A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood….
The sun is SHINING!!! The last few days of rain had just started to take its’ toll on me! I couldn’t stand being trapped inside anymore! Nor could my husband or dog…..
We were able to finally take Buster out for a walk on Sunday afternoon! Although we couldn’t do our normal walking loop (some long grass dwelling birds were nesting again) it started out to be a great energy burner for Buster who has been storing it ALL week! That’s where it goes kinda wrong!!! Buster, good ol’ Buster, once again cuts his foot open! Granted blood is not gushing this time as it did last time, it just ruined John’s day. Buster is good though…NO WORRIES!!
On a sunshinier note….Along with the sun came great news that a good friends’ niece had awaken after a terrible accident! The best news I’ve heard in a while! She is soooo cute! And it sounds like she has a bit of a road ahead of her, but I hear she is a tough cookie!!! Our thoughts and prayers have been with that little ray of sunshine since I found out!
The great weather brings all types of good news, I think! The previously mentioned baby talk that my husband and I have been having is starting to grow on him! I haven’t been the conversation starter the last few times :) There have been a good number (in my opinion) of talks that have lead to the conclusion that I can come off my pill this summer, even as soon as June! And I have to thank the glorious weather for that! It sounds silly, but when it rains, it pours in the LeBeau home; but when the sun is out and Spring is in the air, the clean air cleans out my husbands’ head!!!!
And along with cleaning out my husbands’ head, the clean, spring air has done a justice for my agents here at work as well! 3 pendings this month and it’s only May 6th!! Fantastic!!! My agents are out and about and not as grumpy with the sun shining!
It’s with envy that I end this, I want to be outside in the worst way!!! Until Saturday!
