A different type of day

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring, he bumped his head and went to bed and didn’t get up til morning!

That’s the song that keeps running through my head on this not so glorious rainy day in the quiet corner! And I would like to believe that there is just something in the air today, but the saying goes “When it rains, it pours.”  Quietness in the office as the phone has rung a few times, some agents are here, but the mood was not so pleasant this morning! Things happen, life goes on, and you have to put the past in the past! (A few too many cliches today, if I do say so myself). But it just feels like that type of day!

And maybe not just that type of day today but the last couple of days! Real Estate is picking up, we have at least 5 new, greatly priced listings that are sure to keep my agents busy! The agents are not lingering in the office as much, as they seem to have more appointments (or maybe the great weather we had last week has something to do with it).  But in my personal life things seem a little uneasy also and I am just wondering if it’s because the sun is hiding behind these crappy rain clouds? Because whatever it is, my hubby has it too!

With our two year wedding anniversary approaching here in August, we have had the “baby talk” on numerous occassions and on numerous occassions we have had the I don’t want to talk about it right now arguement. Like I said, I think there is something in the air! Maybe I should approach it when the Sun is bright and shining and we are out walking the dog, all in casual conversation?? Who knows! But as I approach my 26th birthday (July), I am feeling more and more ready to bring another life into the world and be responsible for doing so (OK, so something must be in my water :-) But in all reality, whether or not something is in the air or in the water, the truth of the matter is that bringing life into this world is what life is all about!

Because that is what life is about, I am having a hard time keeping out of the drama and what not associated with life in general and I guess that is why it’s a different type of day! Not my typical thoughts and seems to be a scattered thing to ramble on about!

Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come Again Another Day!!

I love babies! And, I just dig kids! 26 (soon) is still plenty young for the clock to tick, tick, tick. Just a little side note, kids bring plenty of drama of their own…but theirs is so worth it!
